Savory batter fried Snake gourd, tropical or subtropical vine, raised for its strikingly long fruit, used as a vegetable, medicine, and, a lesser known use, crafting didgeridoos. Common names include snake gourd.we used many of snack gourd preparations.and many sri lanakan do curries.but today we do,how you can used as a quick bite. and for evening party we can used something slimmer idea
Ingredients
- 100 g Snack gourd clean and sliced
- 1/2 chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp chopped curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 egg
- 50 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tumric powder
- 100 ml vegetable or coconut oil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tomato,1 onion, 1 green chili Finley chopped
- 50 g curd
- lime
Method
Step 1
make the batter first,take a bowl,add flour,baking powder,egg and water,make a batter
Step 2
add curry leaves,chili flakes and cumin in to the batter with salt and pepper
Step 3
heat the oil,deep the snack gourd in the batter and fry in oil
Step 4
mean while add the chopped tomato,green chili and onion in to curd and mixed with lime and salt
Step 5
you can served the dressing on top or in a separate bowl..
