Potato dishes are very famous in sri lanka .potato tempered is one of iconic dish in the spacial occasions,there are few verities available here in sri lanka .walimada is the famous town in sri lanaka to have such.it contain lot of cobohydrates.
Ingredients
- 300 g potatoes
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 green chili sliced
- rampe ,karapincha
- 2 tsp oil
- 3 tsp Maldive fish
- 1/4 tumaric powder
- 2 tsp chilli pices
- salt
Method
Step 1
Peel the potatoes , cut in to cubes and boiled it,keep a side
Step 2
take a pan,add some oil in to it,
Step 3
add the rampe and curry leaves,saute for a while,add onion green chilli and saute till golden brown
Step 4
fallow with tumaric,chilli lakes and salt, mixed it
Step 5
reduce the fire,add the boiled potatoes and mixed it,allow to cook in slow fire for few minutes.
Step 6
ready to served to the table with with sri lankan rice and curry
