Deviled Fish  – One of the famous mouth watering dish.
This is one of the most mouth watering dish amongst the sri lankan public. Known as ‘Devilled Fish’ people love to have such dish as a accompaniment for their dinner, and many of the youth like to have this as a side dish called as ‘ bite’ in sri lanka during special occasions.
This dish was influenced  by the Portuguese and Dutch communities in sri lanka. This was a famous  dish in  the coastal area in sri lanka.
This  dish contains fried fish tempered with sweet and sour sauce. Sweetness is added from the sugar and sour is  from the vinigar. As a Sri Lankan, I personally love to have this in my meal.
But many people use MSG..but honestly I don’t recommend to use this. Try to get the real taste from the salt, and even you are free to add few drops of lime for additional flavor. But this is optional. This dish is easy to prepare. Yellow fin tuna fish is the best for this recipe. You are free to use the amount of chilli according to your pallet.
I do not recommend chilli powder in to this dish, use only fresh chilli flakes.
Sri lankan chilli is very famous in the sub-continent, and sri lanka is world renowned  for spices.
I am pleased with this dish and request you to try it at your home more sauce added  will make the taste richer.
