The basic omelet recipe we all know is,. egg,salt & pepper. But for us we mix onion,green chilli,tomato as a filling to the basic omelet. (Omlette – Sri lankan Style) I suggest you to add some finely chopped curry leaves as well.In the down south they use kochchi chilli or cobra chilli to spice it up a bit more.
I deal for breakfast with a dhall curry and our own way prepared egg omelet with bread, Two eggs per week is not an harm to your health.
- 3 no Eggs
- 1 red onion
- 1 green chili chopped
- 1/2 tomato chopped
- 1/2 tsp chilli pices
take a bowl,break the eggs in to bowl,beat it till in to puffy
add salt pepper,and all Ingredients in to it.mixed well
all the oil,put the mixture,cooked in slow fire,turn in to other side,let it cook
turn the egg in to half,served hot
