The basic omelet recipe we all know is,. egg,salt & pepper. But for us we mix onion,green chilli,tomato as a filling to the basic omelet. (Omlette – Sri lankan Style) I suggest you to add some finely chopped curry leaves as well.In the down south they use kochchi chilli or cobra chilli to spice it up a bit more.
I deal for breakfast with a dhall curry and our own way prepared egg omelet with bread, Two eggs per week is not an harm to your health.

Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 Red Onion

  • 1 Green Chilly Chopped

  • 1/2 Tomato Chopped

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Oil

  • 1/2 TSP Chilly Pieces

Directions

  • Take a bowl, break the eggs in to bowl, beat it till in to puffy
  • Add salt pepper, and all Ingredients in to it. mixed well
  • All the oil, put the mixture, cooked in slow fire, turn in to other side, let it cook
  • Turn the egg in to half, serve hot!
